Forever and Always, Our Tiga
My Dear Friends,
It's been just over a year since Sherly came into my life, and with her, came Tiga a 20kg HUGE boxer! I never had a dog growing up, so I was a bit apprehensive - would the dog make a mess? Would she be a burden? But it was obvious that it was love at first sight! There was something so special about having a beloved pet, and she quickly became part of our family.
I'd like to let Sherly tell you a bit about Tiga too...
"I met Tiga when I accompanied a friend who was going to purchase a boxer for themselves. I laid my eyes on her and fell in love. I took her straight home. My mom saw her and immediately spoiled her with a huge steak. For every moment of her life she was treated to the best food and she was my constant companion.
In addition to coming to work with me each day, she traveled with me on vacations to Switzerland, swam in the beaches of Monte Carlo and traveled the wineries of Tuscany. She loved being outdoors during the snowy winters or the warm summers.
She was smart!! Just like a parent can recognize the type of cry of their baby, I could recognize Tiga's bark. One evening, we heard her barking outside. I knew she wasn't barking at a dog or other wild animal. And I was right!! One of the boys was locked out of the house, and Tiga barked as her way of communicating!"
Unfortunately, she lost her battle to cancer last week. During her final week, she was lethargic and wouldn't eat. We sadly had to say goodbye to Tiga. She was feisty, fun and an extremely intelligent pet. She was wonderful with children (of all ages). She traveled with Sherly on her personal and professional adventures around the world! She will be missed. Although we are saddened with her passing, we appreciated every moment we shared together.
Now that I understand how important, and valuable it is to have a pet at home, I decided to create a customizable collection of pet jewelry. Whether you're wearing jewelry to honor or memorialize a beloved pet.
With Halloween this weekend, we thought it would be so much fun to find pictures from "dress-up" pasts and share them with you here and on our Facebook page! And what better than to start with a picture of TIGA all dressed up for the season! In fact...in celebration of this fun holiday weekend, we are having a 20% off SITEWIDE sale! We would LOVE if you could upload some of your great dress up pics too!! Please feel free to share!
