Happy New Year! A time to Nurture our Roots
My Dear Friends,
Happy New Year!! No, I'm not a month late....I'm actually wishing Happy New Year to the Trees! The trees? YUP!! Believe it or not, in Israel, we celebrate the life cycle of the trees - we call it "Tu b'Shvat!" As a lover of everything nature, and outdoor activities, I think that Tu B'Shvat Celebrations are so joyful!
Typically, the first tree that blossoms during this time of the winter is the Almond Tree. After laying dormant all year, the beautiful white blossoms emerge and fields all over the country are blanketed with these white beauties. Because of this special holiday, I chose the Tree of Life Ring to be our Monthly special value for February.
The tree of life is a universal (and spiritual) symbol of connection, continued growth, knowledge and wisdom. But why are people drawn to Tree of Life Jewelry? I believe that the answer lies within the tree itself. The hidden roots represent our past, our ancestors. As the tree grows, it begins to link our past - branching out as we lay the legacy for our future.
When I designed the Tree of Life Ring for our collection, there were a few concepts that I wanted to incorporate. At first, I knew that I wanted to design something dimensional, something two-toned, and something that had an artisanal flare. So if you look at our MSV closely, you'll see that it's actually ONE ring, but made of multiple, textured bands. It's a wide band ring, so don't forget to size up if you're in between sizes.
I invite you to take a closer look at our Tree of Life Ring....because now you know the real meaning behind it!
Happy New Year!
Danny
